Wolfgang Kneilmann Appointed Managing Director, NCR Central Europe

Organisational restructuring of business for cross-industry and market focus

AUGSBURG/HANOVER, Germany – Wolfgang Kneilmann will lead operations for NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with immediate effect as Managing Director, NCR Central Europe. In this position, Kneilmann will be responsible for sales, marketing and customer service. The position was created to reflect NCR’s new strategic focus on cross-industry and multiple country growth. Kneilmann reports directly to Gary Rider, NCR’s Managing Director for Europe.

Kneilmann (41) has more than 15 years of experience in sales of solutions for German finance institutes. Kneilman, who has a university degree in economics, was a member of the Swissrisk AG management team in Frankfurt, Germany, for six years until early 2007. He was responsible for sales, marketing and Swissrisk’s bank-specific software solutions. He returned to NCR in March 2007 as Area Vice President and was appointed Managing Director of NCR Germany in October of the same year. Prior to this, Kneilmann had held various positions in NCR’s sales division with increasing levels of responsibility, culminating in responsibility for NCR’s sales team for “Sparkasse” in Germany.

“NCR's new orientation – a structure that enables us to become even more enterprise driven by the market and responsive to customer requirements – offers me exciting new tasks across various industries and markets”, Kneilmann emphasises. “One of my core tasks in the next few months will be to promote this new orientation. This includes pushing growth into new and aspiring industries such as travel and healthcare.
